About Us

Alex is the founder of Reno Area Home Buyers. He grew up in Gardnerville, NV and has been a Reno resident since 2011. Without a formal real estate background, Alex started out in the industry in 2018, quickly finding his niche in marketing directly to sellers and offering a simple off-market sale process to homeowners. Before real estate, Alex was a valet attendant at Atlantis, so he may have even parked your car at one point! Today, he is the Sales and Marketing Manager at Reno Area Home Buyers and takes pride in continually improving the process for the local homeowners that choose to do business with us. In his spare time, Alex likes to race motocross, and is a “crossfit at 5:00 am every day no matter what” type of guy.

Wes is originally from Incline Village, NV. He and his high school sweetheart, Megan, (from Sparks, NV) got married while Wes was in college at Arizona State University in 2010. Wes worked on Phoenix’s light rail system as a transportation planner with URS Corporation. Though a great experience, Wes realized his interest in planning was largely related to investment and land development. Since moving back from Arizona in 2015 to Reno, NV, Wes has worked primarily in the real estate space and started growing Reno Area Home Buyers with Alex in 2019. Wes has two children, Ella and Mather that were born in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Wes loves business, rock climbing, back packing, back country skiing, making music, meditation, buddhist philosophy, and spending time with his family. But his most important life achievement is winning best costume for the “beer” division of the 2022 Luggi Foeger Uphill Downhill backcountry ski race at Diamond Peak – he looked great as a flamingo. Steven grew up in Incline Village and completed a BA in Geography from UNR. He’s lived in many parts of the U.S. and lived/worked as an English teacher in Japan for most of his twenties. Like many others in Reno/Tahoe, Steven likes to spend his free time in the Sierras, and has a personal interest in the mining history of the area; often camping and tracking down old mining towns and tunnels. Steven joined RAHB shortly after its creation in 2019 as a Project Manager, but now primarily handles administration and transaction coordination, while also overseeing some of RAHBs real estate projects.

Corey was raised in Carson City, graduated from Carson City High, and attended college in Laramie Wyoming. Corey’s experience starts at his family’s auto-body shop and includes twenty years in Reno’s automotive industry. During this time Corey received multiple recognitions for leading the top producing accessories division in the region. When away from the office, Corey spends his time with his wife of 16 years (Julie) and two sons. You may find him boating on Lake Tahoe, fly-fishing, skiing, or target shooting pending on the season.

Austin grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and fell in love with Reno when he moved here in 2015. He loves entrepreneurship and was involved in the initial migration of Bird Scooters to the city. When the time came for a change, Austin decided he wanted to do something within real estate, but also have a positive impact on our community, particularly with those wanting to sell their home. Outside of work Austin has an interest in cars and enjoys spending his time with friends.

Mynor is a native to the Reno/Sparks area. He recently graduated from the University Of Nevada Reno where he earned his Bachelor’s in Social Work. Mynor’s main goal in life is to change his family’s generational future. He is eager to create a great life for himself and many others. Mynor’s willingness to learn and develop in every way possible will allow him to excel in his recent position with the Reno Area Home Buyers team. In his spare time, Mynor likes to play basketball and be involved with the culture of the sport. He is a huge “Sneakerhead” and also enjoys collecting sneakers of all kinds.

Cody was born and raised in Reno and attended Damonte Ranch High School. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. He started working for Apple, but after a couple of years, he decided that wasn’t his passion. He followed his love for fitness and health after discovering CrossFit and became a CF-L2 coach at Double Edge Fitness. He then discovered the art of real estate investing and came to work for RAHB.
