Reno Area Home Buyers is a local investment firm located in midtown, Reno, NV. Founded in 2019 and 5-star rated on Google, Reno Area Home Buyer’s has purchased and sold hundreds of properties including single family, condos, townhouses, manufactured homes, multi-family buildings and even land. We buy houses and other types of real estate all over the Northern Nevada – south to Gardnerville, north to Cold Springs, east to Fallon, and everywhere in between. Our bread and butter is single family remodels, but we also purchase multi-family apartments and do ground-up development too. We buy property directly from the seller, and when we buy a property, it’s our main priority to offer the ‘Easy Button’ through a seamless and transparent sales process. No matter the condition of the property and in any situation, we do everything we can to provide a win-win solution for local property owners here in Northern Nevada.

Alex Ficco
Chief Operating Manager
Alex is the founder and COO of Reno Area Home Buyers. He grew up in Gardnerville, Nevada and has called Reno home since 2011. He didn’t come from a real estate family or a corporate background. In fact, before launching RAHB, Alex worked as a valet at the Atlantis, so there’s a good chance he may have parked your car at some point. In 2018, he entered real estate with no formal training and built the company from the ground up by focusing on one thing: creating a simple, honest way for local homeowners to sell without stress. Today, Alex oversees operations, marketing, and process improvement across the company. His focus is making sure every seller who works with Reno Area Home Buyers experiences clear communication, fair offers, and a professional closing process. When he’s not running the business, you’ll find him spending time with his young family, working out, or racing motocross.
Mynor Carias
Home Buying Manager
Mynor is a Reno/Sparks native and graduated from UNR with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. He has transitioned his passion for helping people into the real estate space, and is committed to building a career centered around impact, growth, and service. Driven by a long-term vision to change his family’s generational trajectory, Mynor approaches both life and business with discipline and leadership at the forefront. Outside the office, you’ll find him in the gym, assistant coaching Wooster’s basketball program, or expanding his sneaker collection.
Austin Edom
Home Buying Specialist
Austin grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and fell in love with Reno when he moved here in 2015. He loves entrepreneurship and was involved in the initial migration of Bird Scooters to the city. When the time came for a change, Austin decided he wanted to do something within real estate, but also have a positive impact on our community, particularly with those wanting to sell their home. Outside of work Austin has an interest in cars and enjoys spending his time with friends.
Cody Burch
Disposition Manager
Cody was born and raised in Reno and attended Damonte Ranch High School. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. After graduating he started working for Apple, but after a couple of years, decided that wasn’t his passion. He followed his love for fitness and health after discovering CrossFit and became a CF-L2 coach at Double Edge Fitness. He then discovered the art of real estate investing and came to work for Reno Area Home Buyers.
Evan Moses
Seller Specialist
Evan was raised in Gardnerville and recently moved to Reno. A driven individual with a passion for success and helping others, Evan made the decision to pursue Real Estate over attending college after graduating high school. Evan has a personal goal of making a positive impact on everyone he meets while leaving behind something bigger than himself wherever he works. When he’s not focusing on the job, Evan spends his free time bodybuilding, cooking, and exploring his artistic side through writing and drawing.
Steven Brockway
Transaction Coordinator / Admin Manager
Steven grew up in Incline Village and completed a BA in Geography from UNR. He’s lived in many parts of the U.S. and worked as an English teacher in Japan for most of his twenties. Like many others in the area, Steven likes to spend his free time outdoors, and has a personal interest in the mining history of the region; often camping and tracking down old mining towns and places of historical interest. Steven joined Reno Area Home Buyers shortly after its creation in 2019 as a Project Manager, but now primarily handles administration and transaction coordination, while also overseeing some of RAHBs real estate projects.
